Vintage Japanese Warabi Bracken Basket
This is a vintage Japanese warabi basket for Ikebana or multipurpose storage and decoration from Okinawa. Tightly handwoven with narrow, sturdy strands of dried warabi (bracken fern), this beautiful, shallow, wide-mouthed basket is the perfect addition to dress up any classic ikebana arrangement. It is also an ideal decorative item for storing other things such as fruit, accessories, and knitting yarn.
