Vintage Japanese Wooden Oke Bucket
This is a handmade traditional Japanese lidded wooden bucket made for storing water, rice, or other food product. It is also commonly used for making pickles. Stout, sturdy, and a natural cedar brown color, it is made from precisely cut slats of hinoki wood held together by four thin twisted copper metal wires via tension. This beautiful classic piece is also perfect for adding traditional flair to any home or office decor.
