Found in the floors of tea ceremony rooms or chashitu, and surrounded by tatami mats, this square frame provides a sleek decorative element to the space as well as protects the tatami from any heat or sparks from the hearth fire.
Lacquered black and displaying natural wood grain, this robuchi is a rare tea ceremony furniture accessory perfect for functional, diorama, or artistic use. The original box is included.
