Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Drink Saucers

This is a five-piece set of vintage Japanese wooden lacquered drink saucers/coasters, or chataku. Stained a rich dark brown and brushed with a clear lacquer coating, this easily stackable set is a simple, classic style. The edges are rounded and there are carved and painted plant images.
