Vtg Japanese Lacquerware Bento Box Jubako
This is a Japanese vintage lacquered wooden five-tier lunch box (Jubako). The box is red on the inside, black on the bottom, and has a speckled brown, red and black pattern on the outside. This lunch box has an extra lid so it can be used as two lunch boxes. It comes in a brushed lacquer wooden storage box that opens from the front thanks to a panel that slides up completely. The front panel has a character painted on it, possibly the former owner's name. This storage box has metal protective parts on the corners and two metal handles to carry it. There is a drawer inside the storage box to store the extra lid.
