Vintage Japanese Bamboo Hearth Hanger Jizaikagi

This is a Japanese vintage bamboo hearth kettle hook, Jizaikagi. Jizaikagi are used for hanging the pot or Chagama on the Irori fireplace. This piece has a carved wooden fish with ropes. The hook is made from wood and the hook cover is made from bamboo. There are some white kanji characters written on the front.
