Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Shokudai Candle Stand 

This is a vintage Japanese vintage brass candle stand, Shokudai. Candlesticks with a crane and turtle motif are used by some sects of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism. In Japanese Buddhism, the candle stand is a basic Buddhist tool used in most sects. In the Buddhist world, the light that shines warmth in the darkness has been considered the light of Buddha's wisdom and mercy.
This piece can be disassembled into four pieces.
