Vtg Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Scroll
This Japanese vintage paper hanging scroll (kakejiku) represents a calligraphy of the words Namu Amida Butsu with a lotus at the bottom. This scroll is an icon displayed in Japanese Buddhist home altars, Butsudan. It is a powerful religious image, aimed to be at the center of an altar. This kakejiku is black and gold with a floral pattern. The image is black, green and gold.
