Vtg Japanese Hina Doll Furniture Lantern w/Box
This is a vintage Hina doll furniture lantern set. A bonbori is a portable lamp traditionally used to light spaces during times without electricity (a lantern more decorative than a common brazier). This pair of lanterns sits at the top of a hina display at the ends. It is made entirely of resin and colored black. The lantern top is made of translucent white silk and has red and pink cherry blossoms hand-painted on it. It comes with the original paper box.
