This is a two-piece set of Japanese rice offering cups, Buppanki, made for use in a Buddhist altar. It is made of white porcelain with a brushed gold color. The rice offered to Buddhist altars is called “Buppan.” In the Jodo Shinshu Otani sect, we use the term "Obuku."
