Vintage Japanese Buddhist Sutra Book
This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist prayer book titled Gongyoshu with its lacquered wood box. The book has a red cover and was published in 1935 (Showa 10).

- Good condition considering age. Box damaged: lacquer and wood missing, scratches on the bottom of the box and on the inside of the lid. Book damaged: label on the cover missing, holes in the fabric, first (blank) page missing, title page with tears. Bent pages. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
