Vtg Japanese Kimekomi Ningyo Fabric Doll Zodiac Mouse
This vintage Japanese Kimekomi decorative figure represents a mouse, one of the Chinese zodiac animals, and is a decoration for the New Year. It has a wooden base with silk fabric applied according to the kimekomi technique. The mouse is silver, and the lucky hammer, or uchide no kozuchi, is green, red, and gold with floral patterns. A wooden stand, a wooden plaque, and a sprig of wheat for decoration are included. It also comes with extra fabric, paulownia wood powder (for filler during crafting process) and the original paper box.
