Vtg Japanese Kimekomi Ningyo Doll Zodiac Snake
This vintage Japanese Kimekomi decorative figure represents a snake, one of the Chinese zodiac animals, and is a decoration for the new year to wish for ever-increasing success. It has a wooden base with silk fabric applied according to the kimekomi technique. The snake is white with gold lines, and the two lucky hammers, or Uchide no kozuchi, are green and red with beautiful patterns. The snake coils around piled hammers, which makes a lucky decoration to invite fortune. Golden rice barrels, a wooden sign, and a wooden stand are included. It also comes with extra fabric and the original paper box.
