Vintage Japanese Porcelain Large Plate

This is a vintage Japanese porcelain plate. This large round plate (ozara) is blue and white with a detailed image of a landscape scenery with a riverside village in the mountains. These large plates are mainly used for sushi and sashimi presentation, for centerpieces, for general display, and sometimes are used as a charger plate/trivet for nabe pots or for serving raw vegetables and meat for a hotpot meal.

  • Good condition considering age. Large cracks (repaired). White glaze has crackled. Light staining. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
