Vtg Japanese Marking Scratching Tool Shirohiki for Carpentry
This is a vintage Japanese marking scratching tool, shirohiki, for woodworking. It has two blades and is used to scratch accurate lines on wood for manufacturing. It is called Nicho-shirohiki, which means two-blade shirohiki. The space between the blades is adjustable with the screw.
