Vintage Japanese Gifu Lantern W/ Stand
This is a vintage Japanese paper round lantern made with thin white washi paper, pierced all around to reveal a floral pattern. It fits on a 3-legged black resin stand decorated with gold chrysanthemum flowers. The inner lantern is blue. This type of lantern is usually used as a display during the Obon summer festival. This lantern flattens and is easily stored in the matching box.
