Vtg Japanese Lacquerware Lidded Bowl Kashiki
This is a vintage Japanese Yamanaka Lacquerware snack bowl. Lacquerware is a craft made by coating wood with layers of lacquer. From around the 1950s, synthetic (modern) lacquerware with urethane coating on a plastic (synthetic resin) base was made, and this is modern resin lacquerware.
