Japanese Wooden Figurine
This is a vintage Japanese wooden figurine. It represents a kago, a Japanese litter. Inside the litter is a Japanese woman wearing a kimono and nihongami traditional hairstyle seen from the back. The front window of the litter is opened and the back window is closed with washi paper. There is a matsu pine tree behind the sitting woman. The litter is decorated with tassels. It has some white inscriptions on the front, possibly a name.
