This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. It is white and black and features bamboo leaves painted in green, brown and gold. It is signed on one side. It is light-weighted and easy to handle.

Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
