Vtg Japanese Lacquered Flower Vase Kabin
This is a vintage Japanese flower vase for ikebana flower arrangements. The decorative basket part is lacquered with a caramel brown color in true Hida Shunkei style. It is made up of a woven base with a layered, slightly twisted net-like pattern to create the basket. At the center, there is a removable brown ceramic insert that can easily fit a smaller kenzan (spiked weight for ikebana).
