Japanese Ceramic Teacup, Yunomi
This is a Japanese vintage ceramic tea cup (Yunomi). The teacup is glazed with a stark black on the outside with a gray glaze on the inside that peeks over the top rim. It is a footed cup that is easy to hold. This cup is for serving sencha (steeped loose leaf tea) though it is also around the same size as a larger sake cup (guinomi) and can also be used as such.
