Vintage Japanese Clay Bell Dorei

This is a vintage Japanese clay bell or dorei. Representing a tengu, a mythological creature believed to inhabit the mountains, with a bird beak (crow tengu or karasu tengu), this dorei is brown and green with red, blue and white painted details. There are characters engraved on the back: Hoki Daisen. It has a small ball inside and a braided orange string tied at the top. A paper with characters is attached.
