This is a Japanese vintage zodiac ceramic display plate. This Tokoname ware plate is round and brownish-red in color. It shows a flying dragon holding a sphere on its hand. A buddhist figure with a peaceful face is riding the dragon. This plate signed on the top and the bottom comes with a black resin stand and a paper box is included.
The Dragon is one of the twelve signs of the Japanese zodiac. This round plate is ideal for display during the Year of the Dragon and can also be used as a permanent display. It is a powerful addition to any home or office interior.
