Japanese Wooden Haribako Sewing Chest w/ Box
This is a Japanese sewing box, also called Haribako. Finished with a rich chocolate brown color and with natural wood grain on display, this tansu chest has three drawers with simple metal hardware. The design is created using a maki-e technique and depicts flowers such as peonies in green, orange, and gold. This beautiful piece can also be used for storing sewing supplies, jewelry, or other trinkets.
