Vintage Japanese Wooden Noh Mask
This is a small vintage Japanese wooden noh mask (noh-men). This character is the face of a young girl (ko-omote). This character, literally meaning "small face" is typically used in performances as a young girl or supernatural being. It is characterized by a narrow face with neatly parted hair, soft brows, and a slightly open mouth. This mask has holes on the sides to fasten a string for hanging. It can be used for all kinds of home and office decor.
