Vtg Japanese Wooden Lacquerware Lidded Container

This is a Japanese vintage lidded bowl container made of wooden lacquer or Ohitsu. This round container is black and has two V-shape cutouts on the edge. The lid is the same color and is adorned with some floral embellishment. The lid handle is round with delicate rounded cutouts. This lidded container is designed to keep the rice warm during transport from the rice cooker to the dining table.
