Vintage Japanese Wooden Storage Box for First Aid Kit
Wooden boxes are a common method of safely keeping and storing delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. In addition to pottery, they are also widely used for a plethora of other traditional Japanese crafts including kimono accessories, wrapping cloths, chopsticks, commemorative gifts, etc.
This well-loved vintage first aid kit storage box had three compartments inside and a bracket on the inside of the lid for scissors, tweezers, and other tools. It has simple metal hardware. This was likely used in a school and repurposed later. It can also be used for general storage of trinkets or use for display or other crafts/projects.

- Good condition considering age. Scratches and discolorations. Finish has chipped off all over. Red ink stains inside and out. Hardware is slightly rusted. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
