Vintage Japanese Lacquerware Bento Box, Jubako w/Box
This is a Japanese vintage brushed lacquer wooden three-tier lunch box (jubako). The box is a gorgeous medium brown color with a glossy clear coat finish. The top two tiers can be arranged in any fashion. The bottom piece has a decorative base and the entire piece is painted with gold and green makie flowers (kikyo, balloon flower). This item was a commemoration gift. It comes with the original paper box.
