Japanese Woman Soaking up Sunshine Painting
This stunning original contemporary on paper-wrapped particle board features a Japanese woman lifting her head to the sky with eyes closed, basking in the sun while birds fly overhead. The general feeling of the image is light, airy, and indicative of contentedness, inner peace, and the sense of freedom. Textured matte paint is used throughout giving the piece a lot of movement, depth, and, in some areas, a slight shimmer. This piece is unsigned, but part of a personal collection via the Japanese artist Yoshihiro Hagino.
