Vintage Japanese Pinwheel

This is a vintage Japanese pinwheel toy also called kazaguruma. The dainty frame and spokes are made of bamboo branches and woven strips. To catch the wind, this piece used decorative paper in blues and reds depicting leaves, flowers, and butterflies.
