Vintage Japanese Folding Screen Furosaki-byobu

This is a vintage Japanese folding screen used at a tea ceremony, Furosaki-byobu.  It has two gold panels and depicts the foggy distant view of the top of some mountains with green and blue. The backside is green. Metal lining is on the edges, and metal parts reinforce the corners. It comes with the original paper box.

  • Good condition considering age. Slight damage on the folding part. Light discoloration on the metal parts of the corners. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
