Vtg Japanese Traditional Shamisen String Instrument
This is a Japanese traditional instrument called Shamisen. Shamisen is a plucked string instrument. This vintage shamisen is made from wood, animal skin and fabric. Most of the components of the shamisen can come apart, which makes it easy to transport. The wooden neck of this vintage shamisen comes apart in two places.

Good condition considering its age. Needs to be repapered and restrung. One string is broken. Koma (bridge) and batchi (plectrum) are missing. Body slightly torn. Hole is the skin on the front. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
