Japanese Shamisen Plectrum Bachi Pick
This is a vintage Japanese Shamisen plectrum (Bachi pick). It can be made from materials such as wood, plastic, tortoiseshell, and ivory. This is a gidayu shamisen style bachi (義太夫三味線). The gidayu shamisen is the heaviest and thickest bachi, but the nagauta bachi is wider.
