Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wood Serving Tray

This is a vintage Japanese serving tray, or Obon, typically used for serving drinks and or snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. This heavy tray is made of resin plastic and mimics traditional lacquerware style. It has a faux wood pattern with nadeshiko flowers (carnations) as the main design. It has two cut outs on the ends for handles.

  • Good condition considering its age. Crack in handle. Paint is worn around edges. Scratches. Chips on top surface and sides. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
