Vintage Japanese Porcelain Bowl Kobachi

This item is a vintage Japanese porcelain small bowl, or kobachi. It has a white glaze base with handpainted blue designs in true sometsuke style and also features a decorative edge.
Kobachi are often used for small side dishes such as salads, dressed dishes, and simmered dishes, but with a beautiful design, can be an excellent display piece. These small bowls are also popular to use as individual dishes for hotpot/nabe.
