Vtg Japanese Hanafuda Playing Card Game
This is a vintage Nintendo brand set of Hanafuda playing cards. Hanafuda means "flower cards". Each deck can be split into 12 suits with four cards, each representing a month of the year with a flower that goes with each month. A common way of playing is Koi-Koi, a matching game where players collect points based on various combinations of matches they make. This set comes stacked in a plastic case with "president" on the cover.
