Vtg Japanese Paper Fan Decoration
This is a Japanese vintage paper fan or Uchiwa. Uchiwa (fan) is a tool that creates wind by fanning it with your hand. This miniature replica fan has a decorative purpose and is handmade. The fan is covered with a picture of a ukiyoe (Japanese woodblock print) representing a scene where people on boats and houses can be seen. The black characters give some details about the location of this scenery.
