Vtg Japanese Paper Fan Decoration
This is a Japanese vintage paper fan or Uchiwa. Uchiwa is a tool that creates wind by fanning it with your hand. This miniature replica fan is handmade and has a decorative purpose. The fan is covered with a picture of a ukiyoe (Japanese woodblock print) representing a scenery where people working on a house can be seen. The black characters give some details about the location of this scenery: Toyokawa bridge 豊川橋.
