Vintage Japanese Miniature Taiko Drum Boys' Festival Display
This is a Japanese vintage miniature brown and gold display-only wooden taiko drum. The drum body has a decorative metal bracket with a ring. The heads of the dum are painted gold with a family crest (kamon). There are no drumsticks.
This item is a traditional decoration for the Boys' Day Festival celebrating good health and fortune for boys on May 5th each year.
