Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Serving Tray w/Box

This is a Japanese vintage lacquered wooden tray, or Obon, typically used for serving drinks and or snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. A glossy caramel brown in Hida Shunkei style with lovely wood grain on display, this sturdy round tray provides both function and beautiful decor. This tray features tall sides that prevent items from sliding off while carrying. The original box is included.
