Vintage Japanese Lacquer Wooden Serving Tray

This is a Japanese vintage lacquered wood serving tray, or Obon. This round lacquer serving tray has a traditional red and black design. It is red on the top and black on the bottom. The edge of the serving tray is black and there is an inscription on the bottom. This tray comes in its original paper box.

Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
