Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquer Lidded Rice Bowl w/Box

This is a Japanese vintage lacquered Echizen-Nuri wooden rice bowl with a lid. This round bowl is a Chawan or Meshiwan. The color is a reddish-brown outside and a vermilion inside. It is thin on the top and gets thicker at the bottom. It can also be used for side dishes. It comes with the original washi paper box.
