Vintage Japanese Legged Ozen Tray Table

Painted with black lacquer base and red top surface, this short and stout vintage ozen tray table is a classic traditional piece made for serving food. It has two curved bracket legs.
Ozen are normally used by one person for a meal or for an offering on a Buddhist altar (osonae-zen). It can also function as a decorative item or stand.

  • Good condition considering age. Lacquer cracking on top surface inside edge and corner. Lacquer and wood crack on back side. Black color faded slightly. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
