Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Flower Vase Stand
Used for the display of flower vases, ikebana arrangements, bonsai, and more, this small, oval-shaped kadai stands on three stout carved legs and has a smooth reflective top surface. It is a shiny deep brown with lighter stylistic accent points where the lacquer was applied much thinner. The underside has a ripple pattern.
- Kanji on bottom: Wedding celebration gift (kekkon kinen), Mitsuru and Sadako (names of the groom and bride).
