Vintage Japanese Drawstring Bag Made With Kimono Cloth
This is a Japanese drawstring bag, kinchaku-bukuro, made of soft kimono cloth in a mute red, gold, purple, and orange with a deep purple fabric lining. It features a plush dark purple cord for tying shut and a striped pattern. It has a round panel bottom for stability. This particular piece is for storing and carrying coins.
While wearing kimono or yukata (summer kimono), this bag gives the overall look its finishing touch.
