Vtg Japanese Iron Engraving Statue
This is a Japanese iron engraving statue, the zodiac boar. A work by sculptor Sotaro Saegusa (1911-2006). He was born in Shodoshima, Kagawa prefecture. After graduating from the Department of Sculpture at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts in 1935, he worked as a painter and lecturer.
