Vtg Japanese Iron Bell
This is a vintage Japanese iron bell, or tetsurin, in the shape the head of a karasu tengu, a character out of yokai folklore. It mostly black with a red face and gold eyes. There is a faded purple cord tied to the top. Often confused with red tengu, yokai with red faces, wings, and a prominent long nose, karasu tengu are depicted as servants or minions to red tengu. There are three glass marbles inside.
