Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It has a reddish orange glossy crackle glaze. On top of the glaze is painted design of green pine tree branches and white Japanese plum flowers. This bowl is signed with a pottery stamp on the bottom. This type of bowls is traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies.
