This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It has a dark brown glaze with strokes of beige and blue. This bowl is wide and deep with a shallower mouth. This type of bowls is traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies.
