This original watercolor on cardstock features a colorful array of blooming fireworks at a Japanese festival. A light coating of wax is used to create narrow slivers of white space between colors, brightening and defining the colors and shapes of each individual firework blossom and shower. This piece is unsigned by the Japanese artist.
